Pro Patria Centre Consultation Survey 2.0
We are doing it again! We are fortunate to have students from Macquarie University assisting us with the survey of veterans and their families in the region. The last survey result assisted PPC to determine the services and direction of PPC. Now we are refining that information for the next stage of the planning and the services we will secure for veterans, first responders and their families.
This survey is for veterans and their families. We will undertake further research for first responders again as well.
Please share far and wide! The link to the survey is here.
Meet the students who are working on this project with us.
Isabella
“I am honoured to assist Pro Patria in this project. As a final year psychology student, this has given me the opportunity to refine skills in a practical manner. I work with many children from defence families, this has given insight to the struggles many face. We hope data from this survey allows pathways to create better support systems and programs.”
Ben
“Choosing Pro Patria for my psychology placements has refined my understanding of the issues ADF veterans and their families experience after service”
Catherine
“I’m Catherine, I’m in my final year of my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I was very fortunate to receive my preferred placement opportunity, which was to work with an organisation that works with ex-serving ADF personnel and first responders. The aim of the placement is to assist Pro Patria in gathering vital information that would allow them to tailor their services to meet the needs of this important community. Most importantly this survey seeks to give this community a voice on what is important to them and where they would like to see further support.”
