Calling Older Veterans Accessing the My Aged Care System!
Juntos Marketing is conducting interviews on behalf of the Department of Health and Aged Care aiming to improve the customer experience of the My Aged Care system.
A wide range of consultations is being conducted by the team with consumers, including older individuals and their support systems, as well as professionals from various sectors. This encompasses providers, My Aged Care workers, advocacy bodies, referrers, system navigators, and RAS and ACAT assessors. These consultations are centered around proposed changes aimed at enhancing the customer experience when accessing aged care services. There is a particular interest in engaging with members of the Veterans community who have utilized My Aged Care within the past 12 months, either as clients or through their carer/support person. The goal is to understand and incorporate any unique perspectives, experiences, and feedback from this specific group. It is important to note that the older person in this context is the Veteran, however, the team is happy to speak with either the Veteran or their carer/support person. For more detailed information, please refer to the attached DoHAC fact sheet designed for consumers.
