One step closer: Defence Shed Wagga Wagga @Pro Patria Centre

Did you know? Pro Patria Centre started as a project of the Defence Shed in Wagga Wagga? Not long after the Shed was established it became clear that there was a need for coordinated, holistic, physical and mental health care in Wagga Wagga and the Riverina for veterans, first responders and their families… and the Pro Patria Centre project was born. Fast forward to 2023 and the Shed needed to find new accommodation and this brought forward plans to bring the Shed onsite at Pro Patria Centre.
This week we took a big step forward in the bigger plan. With significant financial support from the Australian Government Department of Veterans' Affairs and amazing community donations, the tender for supply has been signed with Prefabulous
#GetExcited! It's all happening! Defence Shed Wagga Wagga's dream of having a purpose built facility connected on site to other programs and facilities is becoming a reality.
