Brain Injuries

This week the ABC’s 7.30 Report aired “Blast Wave Brain Trauma”. Australian veterans have long faced the silent adversary of brain injuries resulting from their service, particularly those stemming from exposure to blasts. These injuries, often invisible to the naked eye, can have profound and lasting impacts on the lives of those who have served. Understanding the nature of these injuries, their effects, and the support systems available is crucial for addressing the needs of affected veterans.

Pro Patria Centre’s research has revealed a significant number of veterans in the region have blast and impact injuries from service.
