What is Medilinks?
Medilinks provides specialised psychiatric assessment services to veterans to assist with their mental health compensation claims. This is achieved by providing speed of access, ease of access and quality psychiatric service to veterans.
The Problem
Veterans are more likely to suffer from mental health conditions than the general population due to a range of factors associated with their Australian Defence Force service. Exposure to traumatic events, defence culture and high-stress environments can contribute to mental health issues such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Transitioning to civilian life can also exacerbate these mental health issues.
Many veterans cannot find a suitable psychiatrist to assist them with the assessment services they need for their mental health compensation claims with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, resulting in huge wait times and poor outcomes.

Our team can provide several assessment services, all via telehealth, with no
out-of-pocket expenses incurred by the veteran. These services, which occur within a 4-week turnaround from intake to completion of report, include:

All of our psychiatric reports are Quality Assured by our highly experienced staff, prior to submission. This is done to provide an extra set of eyes over the report and to ensure the best possible outcome for the veteran.
